Is this QR code generator really free?
Yes. Every QR code type currently available — URL, vCard, WiFi, text, and phone — is free to generate and download, with no sign-up or login required.
What types of QR codes can I create?

Do QR codes expire?
No. The QR codes generated here are static — the data is encoded directly into the pattern, so they never expire, but the content can't be edited after the code is printed.
Does my QR code redirect through a third-party domain?
No, not for static QR codes — the data you enter (a link, contact details, WiFi credentials, etc.) is encoded directly into the pattern itself. Nothing routes through digitingcard.com or any other domain, and nothing can be deactivated later. Only dynamic QR codes (a separate, account-gated feature) intentionally use a short redirect link, because that's what makes them editable after printing.

Can I download the QR code as a vector file?
Yes. Every QR code can be downloaded as a high-resolution PNG or as a true vector SVG file, suitable for professional printing.
How small can I print a QR code?

Why does my printed QR code fail to scan?
The most common causes are a missing quiet zone (blank margin), too small a print size, low contrast between the code and background, or a damaged/blurry print.

Does a WiFi QR code auto-connect on iPhone?
Not fully — iOS still shows a 'Join Network' prompt that needs one tap, even though the code fills in the password correctly. Android usually connects with no extra tap.
Does a WhatsApp QR code require saving the number first?
No — scanning it opens a chat directly through a wa.me link, with no need for either side to save the other's number.
Does an event QR code work with Google, Apple, and Outlook calendars?
Yes — it encodes a standard iCalendar (.ics) event block that all three recognize.
Can one QR code send iPhone and Android users to different app stores?
Yes — the App Download type encodes a link to a redirect page that checks the scanning device and forwards to the App Store or Play Store link you provided.
